Served from 1966 to Jan 1971. Went to Great Lakes Recruit Training Center, attended Basic Electronics School and was assigned to USS Renshaw DD499 at Pearl Harbor, HI. Shortly thereafter. was transferred to USS Cochrane DDG21 one year later also at Pearl Harbor. Was involved in two tours of Viet Nam in '68 and '69. Honorably discharged in 1971
