SERVED FROM 1965-1971.  TOOK MY RECRUIT TRAINING IN SAN DIEGO.  AFTER BOOT CAMP, WENT TO NCTC PENSACOLA.  AFTER 6 MONTHS OF ''R''  BRANCH TRAINING, THEY SHIPPED ME OF TO NCS GUAM, WHERE I WORKED IN  DF FOR 18 MONTHS. FROM GUAM, IT WAS OFF TO THE USNS PVT. JOSE F. VALDEZ (TAG-169) FOR 12 MONTHS.  FROM THE VALDEZ, BACK TO PENSACOLA FOR COMSEC SCHOOL, THEN ON TO NSGA SKAGGS ISLAND, FOR  TWO YEARS DUTY IN COMSEC,  BUT MOST OF THAT TWO YEARS WAS SPENT  ON TAD.  ONE WAS A FOUR MONTH TAD TO COMSEC TEAM 4 IN THE RVN.  AFTER SKAGGS, BACK TO PENSACOLA FOR P AND R SCHOOL, THEN OFF TO HAKATA, JAPAN.  HON. DISH. AUG. 1971
