Served from 1967 to 1971. Went to Great Lakes Recruit Training Center. Was assigned to a VAW Squadron Was on the USS Independence (CV-62), than to the USS Randolph (CVS-15)and to the USS Shangri-La (CV-38) Last cruse West PAC. Honorably discharged in 1971
