Served Oct,1962-Oct,1966. Boot @ S.D. Cal Co.261 Radar school at Frisco and then to USS Rowan DD782 @ Philly Shipyard. (FRAM CAN) Home ported S.D, Cal and served two wespac cruises to V.N. 65 and 66. Played with Ranger, Coral Sea,Chicago, Black, Hancock, forestal and many others. Fired gun fire support, junk patrol (Black Beret), carrier duty Patrol,and served ice crean to River patrol boats. Honorably discharged 10-17-1966
