Illinois, Dec.1963 / Feb.1966: USS Hollister DD-788, Mar.04,1966: USS Fechteler
DD870, Honorably Discharged Oct.1967. CRUISES: June 1964: WestPac cruise
including one month on the South China Sea which followed an attack on
two US Destroyers, Feb.1967 WestPac cruise and served twice on the gun
line off South Vietnam, supported two amphibious landings, participated
in Operation Sea Dragon, also participated in a Northern Search and Rescue
Station.
