Served in U S Navy 4 Aug '48-25 Jul '52. Attached to VC-4 NAS Atlantic City Feb '49 May '50. Transferred to VC-33 NAS Atlantic City Jun '50 Jul '52. While attached to VC-33 made "Med" Cruise Nov '51 Jun '52 on board USS TARAWA (CV 40) (VC-33 Det 32).  Cruise extended due to relief Carrier (USS WASP) colliding with Destroyer (USS Hobson) night of 28 Apr 1952, the latter losing all hands (176). Honorably Discharged 25 Jul '52, Rate YN2.
