Went to Great Lakes, IL 4-16-1969 for boot. Company 249,
13th Battalion. Went to Millington, TN for "A" School 7-2-69 to 10-20-
69. Assigned to NAF Andrews AFB, Wash. DC from 10-69 to 4-71. Then, transfered
to VA-83, Cecil Field, Jacksonville, FL. VA-83 was detatched off of the
USS Forrestal. On 9-22-72, we set sail for the Mediteraian and on 4-2-73,
I was sent back to states side for my discharge on 4-11-73. I am currently
a member of the USS Forrestal Assn. and the Commanding Officer for the
NAF Andrews reunion. We are looking for past and present shipmates that
are and were stationed there. If you would like to join us, you may contact
