BOOT CAMP AT GLNTC 6-68 TO 8-68. BOARDED THE USS TOLOVANA 24 AUGUST 1968. SERVED ON HER TILL 4 AUGUST 1970. SPENT A YEAR IN JAPAN. DISCHARGED 31 AUGUST 1971. THIS WAS THE ONLY SHIP THAT I SERVED ON. MADE 2 WEST PAC TOURS ON HER. HOPE TO HEAR FROM ALL THAT WAS ABROAD HER DURING MY YEARS. ALSO IAM MAKING UP A COMPLETE ROSTER OF HER AND WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM ANY CREW MEMBER OF THE USS TOLOVANA 30 YEARS OF SERVICE.
