I was stationed aboard the U.S.S. Thuban A.K.A.19 from 1962 to 1965. I was an Assault Boat Coxswain and drove L.C.V.P.s (Papa boats). Our home port was Norfolk, VA. We received two medals each for participating in the Cuban Blockade. After discharge, I became a "Banker" until I became disabled a few years ago.
