Joined in August , 196 - Great Lakes Boot Camp.. Company 932 . Band
Company.. NAS Paxt. River, Md.. Crash Crew member..one of 60 Naval Honor
Guards from there worked the Funeral of President John F. Kennedy at Arlington
Cemetery..Nov.1963.. 1964-65 USS Enterprise CVA(N)-65..Med and World Cruise..member
of the First Nuclear Task Force with the USS Bainbridge & the USS Long
Beach. then NATWOPAC Survival School , North Island, Calif. and then on
to VR-8 at Moffett Field, Calif. Served 5 years...and Honorably Discharged
in March 1967.
