54/APD 38 SPENT 80 DAYS AROUND OKINAWA AT RADAR PICKET DUTY. WE WERE AMMO
SUPPLY FOR UDT-7 CARRING 100 TONS OF HI-EXPLODES, SWEEP FOR MINES, SHOT
DOWN THREE SUDICIDE PLANES. WE ALSO WERE ON CONVOY DUTY IN THE NORTH ATLANTIC.
RETIRED FROM RESERVE DUTY OF USNR 12 YEARS, USAF FOR 12 YEARS AND
US ARMY RESERVE 4 YEARS. WHEN I WAS TOO OLD FOR THE MARINES. I WAS
RETIRED.
