Served from June 1965 to April 1971. Went to Great Lakes
Recruit Training
Center, Company 172, and was assigned to the USS Salute
MSO 470, shortly
after. Was involved with the 1967 search of the H bombs
over Spain's water. Two Med trips, part of the EXPO 67, and Caribbean war
games. Was transferred form active duty to active reserves in Amarillo,
Texas. Honorably Discharged in April 1971. I believe the US NAVY was the
best thing, I have accomplished, in my life time. It was Honor to serve
my Country, The United
States of America.
