Served from Sept. 52 until april 75.went to RTC in San Diego Cal.Then assigned to the USS Mellette (APA 156)in December 52. Also served on the USS Casa Grande (LSD 13),and on the following LST's 1153,1154,1156,1164,& 1175. The USS Krishna (ARL38),USS Shasta (AE 6) Shore duty stations, Orange Texas,Meridian, MS Orlando Florida. upon retirement I returned to my birth city, Meridian, MS were I now reside. I am active in the Disabled American Veterans were I now serve as the Department Adjutant. I hold membership in the FRA Branch 264, VFW Post 79, American Legion Post 21 & the Navy League
